Meadowville is a village built at the intersection of roads and rivers, information and infrastructure, power and people. Meadowville is located in Virginia in the eastern part of Chesterfield County. Chesterfield lies in east-central Virginia between the City of Richmond to the north, and the Petersburg-Colonial Heights area to the south.

Chesterfield is included in the Richmond Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area which, in 2012, had a total population of 1,231,980. Chesterfield’s land area totals 446 square miles.

The James River forms a border along northern and eastern areas of Chesterfield. The Appomattox River, which divides the independent cities of Colonial Heights and Petersburg, forms the county’s southern boundary.
